About the role

KYU Media is a media and content agency producing video, podcast, and social content for a portfolio of high-profile clients.

We run a "pod" model: a self-contained team — Strategist, Account Manager, Social Media Manager, Videographer, Editor, and Graphics that owns a book of clients end-to-end.

You are the face of that pod. You're the person clients trust, the one who runs the relationship and makes sure everything we promised actually gets delivered, on time.

You work alongside a Strategist (who owns the content strategy, you’ll both work on ideas for scripting) — your job is to turn that plan into a brilliantly run account and a client who never wants to leave.

You’ll be onset with our Podcast clients, producing and briefing the team afterwards.

This is the role that takes the day-to-day client load off the founder's plate. We're looking for someone organised, calm under pressure, and genuinely excellent with people.

What We're Looking For

What you'll own

  • Client relationships — you are the single point of contact for your pod's clients. You run the calls, set expectations, handle the hard conversations, and keep clients happy and retained.

  • Project management — keep every piece of content moving through the pipeline on time, across all clients in your pod. You're the one who always knows the status of everything.

  • Pod coordination — brief and coordinate the Strategist, Social Media Manager, Videographer, Editor, and Graphics so the right work gets done in the right order. You translate the strategy into briefs and keep everyone moving.

  • Delivery oversight — make sure what ships matches what was briefed and what the client expects. You're the final set of eyes before it reaches the client.

  • Hands-on when it counts — you're not above the work. If something needs to get into the account, get posted, or get fixed, you roll up your sleeves and do it. No task is beneath you.

  • System building — master our systems, then make them better. Spot what's slowing the pod down or hurting client results, and build the process that fixes it.

What you're measured on (KPIs)

  1. Client satisfaction & retention — clients feel looked after, informed, and confident. Measured via regular check-ins / NPS and renewals.

  2. On-time delivery & pod throughput — content ships on schedule, nothing falls through the cracks, the pipeline keeps moving.

Who you are

  • 2–3+ years in agency account management, client services, or a coordination-heavy content/social role (creative, social, or video agency experience strongly preferred).

  • Genuinely strong with clients — warm, credible, and able to hold a relationship and a difficult conversation equally well.

  • A natural organiser — you keep multiple clients and deadlines straight without dropping anything.

  • Comfortable owning outcomes rather than waiting to be told what to do.

  • Bonus: experience in content/production workflows, or working with talent and high-profile clients.
